I've wanted to photograph this spot for close to 8 years. I made sure I had timed our visit with the tides being at the right level during sunset. I devoted about 3 days to shooting at this spot. It was pretty challenging keeping the lens dry from sea spray. I also had to make sure I didn't get slammed by any incoming waves. The water shoots out about 10 feet up into the air before being sucked by out. I was completely drenched about 4 or 5 times from head to toe but it was a total blast. I'm pretty good at destroying expensive things so walking away with all my gear working was a bonus. The smell coming from my boots in the car was not so good.
